This compact covered bridge, known as Le Pont rouge (The Red  Bridge), had been damaged by flood waters a number of times in the past. In the mid-1990’s it was completely swept away by the raging river.

It was completely reconstructed on the same spot. Close attention was given to ensure that it followed its original architectural form.

This round barn was constructed in 1995. It is the Welcome Office for the Coaticook Gorge Park.

This round barn was built to be representative of round barns, typical of those that were built in the Coaticook MRC (Regional District). It was recently built and has never served any other puirpose than its present one.
