The Devil's Rapids

The Rapides-du-Diable (the Devil's Rapids)

The Rapides-du-Diable (the Devil's Rapids), over 1 km long, occupy an elbow of the Chaudière River, right upstream from Beauceville. Erosion-proof boulders are showcased and explain the riegel found here. Free.

Legend has long since taken over the topic of these rapids.
