While the City of Baie-Comeau was legally established in 1937, the current city hall was opened in 1962.
Baie-Comeau's city hall is the work of architects Parent and Moranville, to whom we owe some schools and the religious buildings of Baie-Comeau, the City Hall has the characteristics of the international style, such as strip windows, granite and metal squares.
