Union Church

Architecture of Union churches

The architecture of Union churches is of neoclassical style in its vernacular form.

They were usually built with the minimum classical elements: rectangular floor plan, slightly elongated, angled pilasters, and single windows.

In the spirit of evangelical denominations, God was in the hearts of the faithful and so when these left the church, they carried His prescence in their heart. Hence, using these buildings for social purposes was not sacriligeous.
