This authentic Guadeloupean estate once housed a rum distillery and a Creole garden, complete with a small train.
Better known as Domaine de Séverin, Habitation Marsolle was one of the island's estates that held the most surprises for visitors... The location served as a set for the Franco-British series 'Death in Paradise'. Visitors could freely explore the distillery and the magnificent Creole garden designed around the main house. This authentic colonial-style Creole house transported you back to the early 20th century through various period objects carefully preserved by the Marsolle family, arranged to let you feel the soul of this venerable home.
Domaine de Séverin was the first Guadeloupean distillery to regularly welcome visitors.
A restaurant and souvenir shop were available on site.
