Guadeloupe Aquarium

The Underwater Treasures of the Caribbean

The Guadeloupe Aquarium, opened in 1987, dedicates all its exhibits to the underwater treasures found in the Caribbean. Completely renovated in early 2018, the Guadeloupe Aquarium is a resolutely modern and interactive facility. More than 50 tanks showcase the different ecosystems of Guadeloupe.

Open 7 days a week, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Visit the sea...

For three million years, Panama has separated the Atlantic Ocean from the Pacific. The species in these two oceans have evolved separately, so much so that the current fauna of the Caribbean Sea is different from that of the Indo-Pacific. With nearly 70 species of corals, 1,200 species of mollusks, and 600 species of fish recorded in the coastal waters, the Caribbean region is the richest and most diverse area in the entire Atlantic Ocean.
