Neuville

A regional tourist destination

The municipality of Neuville is a popular regional tourist destination known for its history, natural beauty, and charm. Situated on the three levels of marine terraces overlooking the Saint Lawrence River since the deglaciation, Neuville is sometimes called "the sweet corn capital."

Several centuries-old houses

There are a large number of bicentennial houses. The agricultural lifestyle dates back to the early days of colonization—which goes back to 1665—and it is still very much present. Several buildings from the 18th century are remarkable for their age and styles. It is particularly on Rue des Érables that you can discover them. There are even guided walking tours during the pleasant season.
