L'Islet-sur-Mer

Several houses with traditional architecture

L'Islet-sur-Mer offers a beautiful succession of houses with traditional architecture where the properties are close to the tides.

The Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours Church (1770-1882) and the small Saint-Joseph-Secours-des-Marins Chapel are classified as historical monuments. In the eastern part of the village, Quai Street leads to a small natural cove that serves as a shelter for small boats.

In the spring, thousands of snow geese can be seen there. The gentle landscape of the estuary unfolds before your eyes, offering an almost magical spectacle.
