Vrille by Elparo

A sculpture that invites imagination

Vrille by the artist Elparo offers a dialogue with the location. This creation integrates into the landscape by infusing it with a fluid and organic dynamic. Composed of modules entirely made of wood, the installation appears to emerge from the ground before diving back in, inviting visitors to move around, gather, and rediscover the park from a new perspective.

Wood as Landscape

Through its natural textures and curves, the wood interacts with the trees, paths, and surrounding landscapes. The work highlights the richness of the site while creating a space conducive to contemplation and daydreaming.

A Work Open to Imagination

Devoid of figurative representation, Vrille allows everyone to project their own interpretation. True to Elparo's approach, it invites the public to slow down, observe differently, and imagine new ways of inhabiting the space.

Art that interacts with the landscape

A Presence in the Landscape

The curves of Vrille appear to emerge from the ground before diving back in, like a frozen movement. The artwork integrates into the park without dominating it, inviting everyone to imagine what it evokes.

About the Artist

Originally from France, Elparo is a multidisciplinary artist renowned for his monumental sculptures integrated into natural and urban landscapes. Exhibited in Europe, Asia, Africa, and elsewhere around the world, his works are created from natural materials, recycled elements, or sourced directly from the installation site.

Creating with the Territory

Each project is designed in dialogue with its environment and the communities that inhabit it. Wood, organic forms, and the landscape become the raw materials of an approach where sculpture reveals the identity of places, while inviting the public to slow down, explore, and unleash their imagination.
