Do you know what “Piopolis” means? Pope’s town.

The parish was founded in 1871 on the West shore of Lake Megantic by papal zouaves who were granted a piece of land to reward their loyalty to papacy.

Piopolis bay offers to the Piopolis people as well as ones on vacation a marina, and a municipal campground with a public beach.

Festival Saint-Zénon presents in the church classical music concerts with renowed artists.

Go all over the Clocher hiking trails (Sentiers du Clocher) and the historic and heritage tour.

Breathtaking viewpoints in rang des Grenier and route des Pionniers.
