St. Armand abounds with historical firsts. Philipsburg village, for instance, is the oldest settlement of the whole Brome-Missisquoi region, as its first settlers arrived in 1784. This is but one of the many reasons why we chose to showcase our historical landmarks. Let us offer you a tour through a choice of sites along with its audioguide.
The Société de Développement de St. Armand and its partners have selected a dozen landmarks for you. A tour through them allows you to follow in the footsteps of our founding families, from 1784 to 1875.
We wish to acknowledge the tour’s creators: research and writing: Guy Paquin; editing: Danielle Jacques; production: the members of the board of the Société de Développement de St. Armand.
Enjoy your tour!
