The Normandie

Origine

Translation of Normandie

The Normandie was named by an American who had been in the Normandie Invasion. Then, when he came back, he built it, and named it “Normandie.”

- The first time I came here was around 1958. By train.

We bought it in 1969... and it has been a family business for the last 40 years.

My parents were both Canadians. My mother was from Montreal, and my father was from Quebec City. My mother came in the States in vacation, she was pregnant, and I was born here. This is why I am an American.

About sixty-five percent of our clientele are Canadians who come back every year.
