This apartment building was originally the École St-Jean, one of the first primary schools in Coaticook.
Thanks to a legacy bequeathed by Arthur Norton, owner of the Norton Mansion (now the Beaulne Museum), a number of buildings have continued to exist. St Stephen’s Church is one of them. It is still in use.
