Saint-Séverin's Church

Church

Our beautiful church marks the heart of the village! Its construction took place from 1873 to 1877.

Built of field stone, it is said that most parishioners gave 2 to 3 weeks of their time for the construction of the temple! The presbytery dates from 1909 and the sacristy from 1927.

Inside

Blessing of the church was carried out by priest Séverin Fafard on June 26, 1877, priest whose name the municipality bears. The picture was taken from the rood screen and provides for a general overview.

The sacristy

The sacristy is made of pine wood from Colombia. It is occasionally used for more intimate celebrations.
