Farming in Saint-Odilon

In 1851, almost all household heads were farmers. At the time, it was subsistence farming. Over the years, tools and working methods evolved.
Subsistence farming was replaced with small and medium prosperous farms that kept local economy going.

Heifer Fair

Cattle quality was very important for our parish's farmers. Several of them attended various regional fairs and stood out by winning prizes.

Agriculture Today

Today, farming is still an integral part of our culture. The small farms of yesterday were replaced with flourishing and prosperous businesses.
