Collège des Hauts Sommets

The Sentier des Caps

You are on the terrace of Collège des Hauts-Sommets, a private High school mixed with school residences.

Nearly a quarter century ago, local municipal reflections on the potential of Saint-Tite-des-Caps led to the choice to redevelop regional forest trails. Today these trails are a favourite of outdoor enthusiasts, who can take advantage of hiking in the summer as well as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter.

The main trail spans over 51.5 km and has welcomed more than 200,000 visitors to date! In all, the Sentier des Caps boasts 150 km of trails, 9 shelters, and 22 lookouts that showcase the Laurentians and the Appalachian mountain range.
