Grande Anse Beach in Terre-de-Bas is just a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal. It's a beautiful, long sandy beach located at the foot of a stunning tropical mountain. Activities include lounging and swimming (watch out for the swell), with an exceptional view of Terre-de-Haut, featuring the Sugarloaf and Cabrit Islet in the foreground. This beach is also popular with surfers who come here for the perfect waves.
There is also an excellent restaurant, Chez Eugenette, located at the entrance of the beach. The welcome is warm, according to many visitors.
