Here we are in front of the garage and the marina of M. Paul Coulombe.
M. Coulombe started selling engines and boats when he owned the village garage now called the Dépanneur du Rond Point.
At the very beginning, there was a small cabin of the Canadian Pacific Railway (C.P.R.) on the land for engine repairs. He then used the rest of wood from the cabins of the Canadian International Paper (C.I.P) of the Rapide 7 and metal sheets to build his marina by the Lac des Quinze.
He repairs boat engines there.
For a few years, he will contiue to sell engines and boats as well.
Still today, after more than 50 years, M. Coulombe manages it’s marina and continues to carry out repairs as well as parking and storage of watercraft.
Pavillon Doré is the second company of M. Coulombe and his wife Doris Roberge, located near the marina. This outfitter was bought in 1973 and they did many renovations. Many customers, including Americans, come to stay for short or long periods to tease the fish during the summer season.
