RETURN TO THE PAST
The Canadian Pacific hydroelectric plant and station are at the origin of the village of Angliers. This name is a reminder of the village of Angliers, in the Poitou region of France, where the family of Sir Lomer Gouin, Premier of Quebec from 1905 to 1920, originated.
On the edge of the majestic Lac des Quinze, Angliers is a tiny town that was shaped by proud builders. Angliers is the generosity, the warm welcome of citizens, the pleasure of meeting, but also the history of our lives, however young it may be...
Happy discovering !
