World renowned with its rich historical and architectural heritage, it was the pride of the village of Val-David for 77 years before it closed permanently in 2013. During those years, the hotel was seen as a true jewel of Laurentian tourism.
It was also famous for its great chefs. For many years, it had one of Canada’s biggest wine cellars and attracted a loyal clientele. The iconic venue also spearheaded the creation of the first hotel and hospitality school in Quebec.
