Arundel United Church

The Methodist and Congregational churches come together

Architecture inspired by the French gothic style from the Middle Ages

In 1889, construction began on this Methodist church in the heart of Arundel's village core.

It is characterized by a large tower, built between 1938 and 1940 and very typical of Protestant churches, and by pointed-arch doors and windows, typical of the neo-gothic style that was popular in Quebec religious architecture at the time.
