Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola church

Heritage building of architectural value

Place of worship renowned for its acoustics

The original chapel and the small church established in 1892, were replaced by a new place of workship built in 1933.

The Gothic church has kept its authentic character despite major renovations in 1983 and 2006-2007 and is of great heritage and architectural value. The building’s superb acoustics, with a Casavant organ provided by early parishioners, make it a popular concert venue.
