In order to complete the establishment of the parish of Saint-Alfred by a resolution sent to the Archdiocese of Quebec on April 4, 1926, the parish council was authorized to designate land for a cemetery since the Quebec Provincial Health Council had approved it. This Catholic burial site was formed from part of lot 2047, owned by Alfred Veilleux, and part of lot 2048, owned by Alfred Bernard. The monumental cross of the cemetery was blessed in 1975.
