Lakes and steeples (St-Herménégilde & Dixville)

Description

Like a giant screen spread out before you, resplendant in its greenery, view the distant horizons dotted with lakes and marshlands swarming with life. See the four spires rising up out of the village centre — they tell their story and the story of those that built them — enough to set you dreaming ! Follow the route to the top of Mount Hereford. There you’ll be astonished by the panorama that unfolds before you in all directions.
There’s more to come. Take a look at the photos that BaladoDécouvert offers you, so full of history and the other morsels on your phone or tablet. Another plus : Balado’s GPS can guide you along the way ! Download your info before you set out, THEN YOU WON’T NEED TO BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET AS YOU GO ALONG.

Enrich your understanding of the history of the Eastern Townships ! Take the circuit whenever you please. With the photos you take of these heirloom sites (buildings, remnants of the olden days, the magnificent views etc.) you’ll be angble to enter our contest, Les Quatres saison du partimoine dans la MRC de Coaticook (Four Seasons of Tradition in the Coaticook MRC).
